2007 was the year the otter color project started at Starlite. I have always been fascinated with otter colors and have always dreamed of the day I would have an excellent fuzzy lop in an otter color. A gorgeous solid black otter buck with a massive head and wonderful wool is what develops in my otter daydream, and every litter forward I am working towards my goal. We currently are working on only black and blue otters but will think about chocolate and lilac in the future.I can never thank Melanie of Lil' Bit Farms in Oklahoma enough for shipping me some excellent colored stock to help develop the otters out here. I am excited to have some different lines working with the fuzzies.
We are rooting on Marilyn as she is the COD holder for the Otter color in fuzzy lops and she will be doing her first presentation at the 2008 Kentucky ARBA Convention.
